Something for Everyone
Nelsonville Parade of the Hills is an exciting event that practically has something for everyone. An event would not be continuing for 65 years without being able to showcase a variety of exciting activities. This event takes place in nearby neighbors of Nelsonville that is a short distance away. The festivities include the Miss & Little Miss contest, a beauty pageant that will showcase a variety of talents. This pageant includes entries for adults and children. The Athletic Day lets kids get in on all kinds of outdoor fun. Your stomach will be rumbling after you get a whiff of the delicious pies being sold at the Pie Auction. This is a great way to take home a home baked pie while helping the local community. With the event being called the Nelsoneville Parade of the Hills you can expect a parade or two. Local musicians will take to the stage for the Fiddlers Contest. Live music will be available on the main stage all throughout the festival. The lineup will feature The Tribute Quartet, American Engine Band, and two different cover bands. Last but certainly not least is the 5k Run for the Hills letting you get a short race in. Each of these activities are waiting for you at the Nelsonville Parade of the Hills.
